Values & Goals
As teachers, we must constantly re-evaluate what we hold as our values. I believe middle school students are at an age where they are too often ignored and disgruntled. As such, it has always been my goal to help students and youth recognize values in themselves. Once you recognize your own worth, you can begin to be heard by others. Teachers' roles in students’ lives can alter how they not only perceive school — but how they will carry themselves through life. If I can make even one child realize their own capabilities and self-worth, then I have done my job as a teacher.
