Lesson & Unit Plans
Online Schooling

Here are some of the ways I adapted to teaching online during the COVID-19 Pandemic period. I primarily used Google Classroom in conjunction with YouTube, Video Scribes, Epic Books and Google Hangouts.
I filmed weekly lessons; created audio books; video conferenced with students online; called students without access to technology and walked them through booklets. While teaching my peers to utilize these tools. My teaching instagram account became a crucial form of communication, to help students communicate with a tool they are familiar with.

As a response to the pandemic, and the continuous challenges faced by educators and students in our building, I created this "Google Classroom Survival Guide" for General Wolfe School.

The document works to help students navigate assignments while learning remotely away from school. I held a PD session on how to use this document, and showed teachers how to make the best of their online teaching experience.
